In cooperation with the French company Quénéa Renewable Energy, the installation of a DEGERtracker 5000NT at the Mohammadia School of Engineers (EMI) in Rabat, Morocco has been completed. The energy produced is consumed not only directly by the university but also used for research purposes. The University provides the DEGERtracker for its students as an educational tool to study the electricity generated from renewable solar energy by analyzing the systems output with a spectrum of research methods.
The dual axis DEGERtracker 5000NT was installed with 24 Voltec solar modules and one SMA STP 7000 inverter and has an output of 6.7 kWp. The estimated annual production is 14,500 kWh / year and corresponds to the average consumption of 18 people in Morocco.
