The MLD-sensor constantly aligns the connected solar modules to the point that provides the greatest energy and achieves a 42,9% greater yield on average than fixed systems.
Even though photovoltaic modules’ efficiency factor has been improved considerably over the last few years, the physical ceiling has essentially been reached. A genuine leap in a systems’ efficiency can only be achieved by intelligent MLD technology. Only then can more energy be generated no matter which modules are used.
DEGER is the leading manufacturer with the world’s largest product portfolio for single and dual-axis solar tracking systems. With more than 100,000 projects implemented in more than 75 countries since 1999, DEGER is the world’s market and technology leader for sensor-based tracking systems.
Easier and faster assembly, with a simpler design as compared to our competitors, makes our systems the most preferred technology.
Low energy consumption is also a factor in the systems’ high level of efficiency. For example, a dual-axis DEGER D100 does not even use 0.5 percent of the additional energy it yields. They are surprisingly economical primarily as a result of the systems’ low maintenance requirements and long-lasting technology.
We develop, test and assemble in house. This is the foundation for the quality required to build intelligent, robust and durable tracking systems with a long service life. DEGER systems are extensively tested in practice before marked launched. Tracking systems are exposed to extreme situations and subjected to a wind tunnel test.
Using IPE and HEA profiles, module fastening rails made of aluminum and the DEGER control (Made in Germany), the systems are characterized by their robust and long-lasting quality. The control system is developed in-house by DEGER. The use of cheap C-profiles and pre-galvanized steels is generally avoided.
DEGER’s solar tracking systems are flexible assembly systems and suited to all commercially available module and inverter types. The negligible maintenance costs and robust construction with high-quality materials ensure a long, maintenance free service life.
High functional reliability and low-maintenance operation reduce the follow-up and operating costs for all systems equipped with DEGER and makes them accurately calculable over the long-term. DEGER offers maintenance services for all its tracking systems. However, defective components can be easily replaced through plug & play by each customer.
Non-Linked DEGER trackers allow you to make easier and faster cleaning of the solar panels and offers free movement between the rows. In contrast to the linked trackers, the independency also allows the trackers to rotate to the maximum solar irradiation point individually and contributes significantly to the energy production.
Dual axis DEGER trackers can be applied unconditionally to all kinds of terrain regardless of slope. In the application of the single axis DEGER trackers; while the systems are placed on terraces constructed in the lands with east-west inclination; in the lands with the southern inclination, the trackers are matched to the angle of the land with gradients of up to 10°.
In contrast to the backtracking technology which leads the solar panel surfaces in mostly horizontal positions and correspondingly causes a significant decrease at the energy production; DEGER’s CTC monitoring and shadow management software offers the possibility to define the sunrise and sunset tilt angles of single axis trackers manually and guarantees higher energy production.
DEGER tracking systems move eastwards overnight to catch the first rays of light in the early morning and contributes significantly additionally energy production.
DEGER control system move the tracking system to horizontal position (safe position) in the event befor a storm. The tracking systems remain in the safe position until the storm passes, after then they switch back to normal sensor mode.
