Greece, Europe’s sunniest and windiest country, places a high value on renewable energy sources. Thousands of homes’ electrical demands are provided by renewable energy. With unlimited resource solar energy systems, power is produced with minimal environmental damage.
DEGER HELLAS, one of DEGER Group’s offices, paid a visit to the recently finished projects. There are 5 projects with DEGER single axis tracking systems near Lamia, a town in the Fthiotida region of central Greece. The ENERSYS team installed the projects, which have a total installed power of 2.3 MW.

PROJECT 3: Polidroso, DEGER S100 Single Axis Systems with an installed power of 500 kW
PROJECT 4- Velesiotes, DEGER S100 Single Axis Systems with an installed power of 400 kW
PROJECT 5- Sofiada, DEGER S100 Single Axis Systems with an installed power of 400 kW
Bifacial modules are used in DEGER single-axis systems. When compared to standard modules, bifacial modules produce 30% more energy by utilizing sunlight reflected from the ground.
